Fun on the Bed

Perhaps one of Sophia's favorite activities is when she gets to roll around and play on the most wonderfully comfortable place in the whole world... Mommy and Daddy's Bed.

Sophia loves computers, loves daddy, and loves chairs.
But most of all, she loves daddy's computer chair...
though it may be a little too big for her.

The Full Report

OK mom, just like we talked about, here is the full report of everything that I did with Daddy and Uncle Timmy while you were at the Women's Retreat this weekend.

Daddy and Uncle Timmy had a bunch of smelly boys over to the house on Friday Night. Thankfully, I was the only girl there. Daddy said I was the prettiest girl in the world, except for you mom. He even let me sit on his lap while they played Settlers of Catan. That was my favorite part of the night. I guess daddy's friend Josh is really rich, because they said he built lots of roads and houses, and he won.

I do have to tell you, mom, that they ate a lot of junk food. It wasn't anything like when you're home to cook for daddy. You make healthy stuff.
The coolest part of the night was when dad let me try Doritos for the first time. I think I prefer Nacho Cheese over my typical peas and carrots. Maybe we can talk about working that into my diet on a more regular basis. What'd you think mom?

OK, that was Friday night, but Saturday morning was when things really started to get good. I woke up really early, so dad and I went for a walk. Well, once the sun came up. After our walk, we found out a new way for daddy to pull the stroller, and that was really fun. Daddy pulled me around the back yard, and parked me there so I could laugh while I watched he and Uncle Timmy played with the kitties. Mom - Daddy and Uncle Timmy are really funny when they get together.

Then I found out that (even though Dad is really cool) Uncle Timmy is just a little bit cooler. Uncle Timmy took me to the front yard to see my favorite flowers...
...and I took a piece of the flower myself. Uncle Timmy thought that was pretty funny, and I think he was going to let me eat it (it was red, so it must taste good). But dad didn't really like that idea, and he took my pieces of the flower away. Bummer!

Then Uncle Timmy taught me how to pretend that I am an airplane. I know mom - you're a little bit scared that Uncle Timmy might drop me, but I know how to fly really good - and Uncle Timmy was really careful mom. I think this may have been the most fun I had all weekend.
See mom, it's like I told you - Uncle Timmy was being really careful.

......and you can tell we're both having an awful lot of fun flying through the yard.
In this photo above, I wanted to show you how I was demonstrating to Daddy and Uncle Timmy my uncanny ability to produce a massive string of drool.
So, I had a lot of fun this weekend with daddy and Uncle Timmy. They took great care of me. But I want you to know that my favorite part of the weekend, mom, was when you got home on Saturday afternoon. It was so good to see you again, and I was really thankful for the sweet family time we had on our blanket that afternoon.

I love you mom. Thanks for letting me have such a fun weekend with Daddy and Uncle Timmy.

You're the best mom ever - thanks for loving me so much mommy.
Love,
Sophia Faith

Our little princess in the flowers

Okay, so what does every texan need pictures of......... their kids in the bluebonnets. I know neither Jason and I were born in Texas but hey, we can join in the fun, right? Besides, doesn't she look so cute? We are so blessed to have such a sweet daughter from the Lord; she is a true blessing! We are such sinners but nevertheless the Lord is gracious and gives us such a sweet blessing - and another one on the way - Wow!

Rollin' on Pink Rims

Out on sunny days, Sophia enjoys rolling down Ridgeway Blvd in her big pink stroller with her favorite blanket. Favorite things to see include flowers and squirrels falling out of trees. Dangers to avoid include bumblebees and dropping teething-toys onto the street.
